This album is based on the story of Jean-Michel Rameau, the hapless yet strangely endearing heir of the last financial capitalists of Earth, who flees the planet in order to escape the looming threat of the Crab Communist Republic.
Accompanying him on this intergalactic adventure is an unconventional ally -- Metaldog -- who is, in fact, a spy robot designed by the communist crabs to stop him and exterminate human race once and for all.
But as the story progresses, it becomes apparent that Metaldog's loyalty and affection towards Jean-Michel prove to be a hindrance to his primary objective...

« Metaldog 1 » was composed in August-September 2022. It is entirely based on a 14-microtones scales with a prominent use of a « neutral » third (11/9). It was written using a custom-designed programming language which facilitates the exploration of weird polyrhythms. All sounds were synthesized on a yamaha v50.
